there are few moments when i come across a gown that inspires me to create an entire wedding, and this is one of them. thanks to a fantastic post from bride chic, i could not stop thinking about this oscar de la renta lace, belted skirt and long sleeved blouse.
not only is this gown two separate pieces, which is a new trend for this year, but this design evokes such a sense of simplicity, warmth, and yet, all with chic style. as the bride is ever searching for something new and perhaps sensible, this would be my pick. unbelievable grace and poise, without the suffocating norms of traditions, this gown, and more than that, this style is complete picture of a modern wedding.

I think we're both hopeless Oscar de la Renta fans. I'm finding there are three designers that make it into my posts regularly: Oscar, Claire Pettibone and Carolina Herrera. Peter Langner too. They really rate a certain excellence.
I LOVE this gown!! It has a such a sweet Victorian feel to it. Beautiful!
