Fabulous post, Carrie! I had no idea that the world of bridal gown couture was this elaborate. Congrats on Couture Week, Dani!
I am constantly blown away by Dior Couture and John Galliano's designs. If I could dream up a wedding gown (with no budget to worry about) Dior Couture would be it. I was just at the Met to see the "Models as Muse" exhibit, and Dior Couture gowns were prominently featured. To see them up close is unreal - almost bringing you to tears.
The French Vogue picture where the bride is "stabbing" the cake is incredible, too. Her dress mimics the traditional shape of a wedding cake.
