it's friday! i'm looking out of my window right now and praying this blue sky and sun are here to stay for mother's day! i could use some warm weather this weekend--no more sudden hail storms in May! and ladies, make sure you give the mama in your life a big hug this weekend and tell her how much you love and appreciate her. my mom is my best friend and i don't know what i would do without her!! love you, mom!!

I’m in love with Romona Keveza! I’m still trying to find my dress for next summer and I have been looking at both Romona and Oscar’s recent collections and I don’t find the fabrics, details or silhouettes to be similar at all. While both collections are elegant, Oscar clearly has a Spanish influence and Romona pays homage to screen legends and Hollywood glamour. Love your blog, have a great weekend.

girl, you are keeping me on my toes! i should have been more specific with my comparisons--this spring 2011 Romona Keveza collection reminds me of Oscar's spring 2009 collection. it would be wrong of me to truly say the two designers are the same mind. clearly they are not!!
i absolutely love the feminine silhouettes of Romona's collection--such great figure flattering designs that really accentuate a woman's body. i wish you the best in your search for the perfect gown and would love to hear about the one you purchase!!
