how fantastic were amy-jo's posts these last two days?? such great inspiration for smaller weddings--thank you, thank you fashion lady!!
lately i have been blown away by the work of ben chrisman. so captivated by his photographs, i spent hours looking through his blog and website. there is just something so real in his work--i just love it!! and i am so excited that he wanted to share this wedding with weddings fresh today! here is a little info on our beautiful couple and this gorgeous wedding in the bahamas. enjoy!!
Melissa and Jonathan live in Miami, and growing up as a kid, Jonathan and his family would often take their boat over to the nearby Bahamas. So when it came to pick a place to be married, choosing a spot with so many family memories brought a wealth of importance to an already happy and emotional week. And it also brought a party. For the reception, they asked Miami songwriter Brendan O'Hara to come along and perform his song Palindrome for their first dance. And they brought in a Junkanoo band as a surprise for their guests, which created the wildest 10 minutes I have ever photographed at a reception...They are off on their honeymoon now in Jackson Hole skiing before spending a couple weeks in Mexico thawing out.
thank you, ben!
